FitchRatings rates Germany's Genossenschaftlicher FinanzVerbund 'A+'

For the first time rating agency FitchRatings has assigned Germany's Genossenschaftlicher FinanzVerbund ("Finanzverbund") with a so called "Verbundrating".

With stable outlook the long-term rating was classified "A+" and the short-term rating "F1". The rating affects at the same time all individual institutes which are associated with the Finanzverbund and which are member of the protection scheme of the BVR (Bundesverband der Deutschen Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken - National Association of German Co-operative Banks).

As member of the BVR and the protection scheme the rating A+/F1/outlook stable applies for apoBank with immediate effect. Besides the existing ratings of Moody's and Standard & Poor's the quality of apoBank is now rated positively by a third international recognized rating agency.
