Notes for the users of apoBrokerage (Internet-Banking- or StarMoney users)
We ask you to observe the following notes every time before you place a subscription order
via apoBrokerage:
The use of the StarMoney program (online banking) or Internet-Banking to subscribe for newly issued shares will always be on one’s own account. Deutsche
Apotheker- und Ärztebank generally does not guarantee any advice either; this applies also in
the case of changes to the terms of issue, above all to the subscription period, the first trading
day (day of initial listing) and the bookbuilding margin.
Deutsche Apotheker- und Ärztebank reserves the right to decide not to release certain new
issues for subscription via apoBrokerage. This applies in particular to all new issues granting
benefits of any kind (so-called incentives) to a certain target group of investors. In this case,
subscription is only possible via your Deutsche Apotheker- und Ärztebank branch.
For technical reasons, customers who have already placed a subscription order with Deutsche
Apotheker- und Ärztebank via StarMoney or Internet-Banking will not be able to
discern any changes to the terms of issue as compared to the original statements in the
StarMoney or Internet-Bankin program or on the confirmation of the customer’s order (e.g., only the data of the
original order are shown in the StarMoney order book). This applies in particular to a shortterm
reduction or extension of the subscription period and / or a change of the first trading day
as well as to a reduction of the price margin (bookbuilding margin). Therefore, you should not
restrict your gathering of information about the new issues to the terms of issue at the time of
your order placement. It is advisable to observe the further development and the publications
from / about the company (issuer) which have meanwhile appeared.
As far as changes, cancellations and deletions are concerned, we explicitly refer to the
following facts:
- The "Delete" button causes only the deletion of a subscription order (original order)
placed within the StarMoney program (deletions of the order only in the StarMoney
order book)! This deletion is not equivalent to the cancellation of an order already
passed on to Deutsche Apotheker- und Ärztebank.
- If the respective order has not yet been executed, the whole order can be cancelled by
clicking the "Cancel" button.
- If the respective order has not yet been executed, e.g. the limit and/or the validity of
the order can be changed by clicking the "Change" button.
Additional note: Changes or cancellations are accepted with reservations, because the order
may have been (partly) executed by the time of the change or cancellation.
Changes to the terms of issue, especially changes to the subscription period, the first trading
day (day of initial listing), and the bookbuilding margin do not automatically result in the
termination of the orders placed via StarMoney or Internet-Banking. In the case of such changes to
the conditions of issue, but not in the case of early termination of the subscription period,
Deutsche Apotheker- und Ärztebank strives to inform in an appropriate form (in writing and /
or by telephone) also those customers who have placed their order by using the StarMoney
program about the changes to the terms of issue and the resulting
(continued) validity / non-validity of the order. However, there is no legal claim to this
information. The changed terms of issue can be seen on the “new share issues” overview
page. If you are in doubt whether the original order is still valid under the changed terms of
subscription, please contact your customer service officer within the corresponding branch of
Deutsche Apotheker- und Ärztebank.
A peculiarity in the use of the StarMoney program: Since the allotment price of a new issue is
often unknown at the time of subscription (e.g., in the bookbuilding procedure, only the
bookbuilding margin is known), StarMoney shows an order value of zero, or no value at all,
in the order summary and in the subsequent order confirmation. This indicated value is not
correct! The final purchase price of the securities is calculated by multiplying the number of
securities by the allotment price.
